Well, this cottage is amazing. It is so cosy and comfortable. The owners have certainly done an amazing job converting this beautiful place into a really great place to stay. The area is just stunning with plenty of places nearby to visit. After a day of exploring there was nothing better than coming back and relaxing in the beautiful cosy and very peaceful cottage. Thank you to the owners for making an enjoyable trip just perfect, everything in the cottage has been well thought out and it truly is a gorgeous place to relax in.

We stayed with our dog at the end of August, we had a lovely stay. Perfectly cosy cottage which has been beautufully restored. There are some nice walks straight from the cottage through the West Yorkshire countryside and is within easy reach of several towns. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfy base to explore..

The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and is a credit to the owners making it a lovely place to stay, relax & enjoy the welcome pack when you want. There’s some great walks nearby including woodland trails, farm fields and village walks. Along with our dog we found it a good base to explore all nearby areas especially as the weather was fantastic. Would definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Little Badger Cottage. The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful, finished to a luxury, high standard throughout. The bedroom is a real highlight – spacious, with a freestanding bath and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.The location is ideal for nature lovers, with amazing walks right from the doorstep, allowing you to explore the local area without needing to drive anywhere. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful and welcoming, making it a truly special place to escape to.Highly recommend – we can’t wait to return!

Our stay was so special, we felt so at home. The cottage was so so homely and everything was perfect. The fire was amazing to snuggle up to and watch films after having a soothing bubble bath. Absolutely everything about the property was spot on, I cannot complain about a single thing!

Loved our stay here in little badger cottage . The cottage is beautiful inside and the local village is a short walk with nice pubs and cafes . Tracey the owner very attentive and helpful . Would highly recommend this cottage for a break away , the local people are always very friendly we would definitely return and it's great for dogs local walks are great.

We had a wonderfully comfy and cosy stay at Little Badger Cottage! Every attention to detail has been thought of with lots of little touches from the welcome basket to how sympathetically the cottage has been restored in keeping its original features. We loved the bath, especially after long autumn walks, and the log fire was a welcome treat! Practicality wise, the kitchen is fully equipped, hot water on demand, good WiFi; with plenty local shops nearby in Kirkburton and edges of Huddersfield. We enjoyed long walks and visits to The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, The Hepworth Gallery and Cannon Hall. Great food at Cannon Hall Garden Centre, Kin at Barncliffe Mills, Hide & Hoof Farm Restaurant and Blacker Hall Farm Shop. We will be back!
